Default Need advice asap: what tests do i need?

Hi, all -- I'm going to see my primary doc tomorrow to check on my hypothyroidism but thought I might get some PN/CIDP-related tests while there. I have a very high insurance deductible, so I'm trying to keep tests to a minimum. That noted, is there a basic line-up of tests I should get, to look at various deficiencies and whatnot?

Current symptoms include exhaustion (which might be thyroid related but i don't think so), increasing numbness of legs and feet, increasing loss of balance and general, overall lack of motivation to do anything other than sleep and complain. and fool around with my dog. In the past three weeks, I've felt my heart rate going up a lot and my ability to recover from even minor exercise going way way down. I'm always huffing and puffing.

I've been giving myself testosterone shots for 3 weeks, to try to slow down CIDP-caused muscle atrophy, so this may explain some of what's going on. But, who knows for sure? My doctors certainly don't.

Anyway -- test suggestions?
