I'm wondering where the tens machine can be purchased and if there is a brand that would be best for the burning, twitching and other random sensations from SFN. I just read on a post about using this machine. I tried searching in this forum to get more information but couldn't find much. I'd also like to hear feedback from those of you that have used it.
Thanks. |

Me too. I'm wondering if it might help these weird sensations in my stomach area.

Most larger PT clinics have a variety of electric stim machines. Or chiro as mentioned.
TENS, IF stim and other kinds call around an ask, and ask which type seems to work best for PN. You might ask about low level laser/soft laser for PN also.. But there are many medical devices for sale on Amazon and other medical product sites.. You can compare prices and read reviews on Amazon, other medical product sites don't have as many reviews... I got my digital IF stim on Amazon for under 100.00. I will suggest digital settings as the analog dials can be very touchy and easy to jolt yourself accidentally. I also have an analog dial EMS stim, that's how I know..

I used one at the chiro. It really was soothing. It didn't take away burning or twitching but I felt better afterwards.

This is the one I've been eyeballing if I ever get bad enough to go that route.

I like mine so much I bought two. The socks work really great and in pulse mode effect me all the way up to the groin. It feels great. I got mine on Amazon. It's called the Tens 7000. I've used mine almost daily for a year with no problems. I hope you have great luck with one. |

I remember when I hurt my neck and had pain down both arms for about a year. I had tens treatments then and they really worked.
