Yup, this morning on my way out the door to work.
There are 3 small steps out the door. I stopped, as I still have a bit on my right foot from my last fall. I took a moment and decided to go down with good foot. That would be all I remember because next thing I knew I was going all the way down to the cement. I hit my head on the ground. I managed to call my wife who came out to help me. I hurt but still heading to work, for a bit. We are in a rental home you know with stairs. We are looking to find another home, no stairs. I know others trip and fall as I have. I'm thinking I need to keep my cain. Not happy but it's what we have to do. Anyway, just sharing.... Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk |

I'm so sorry for your fall. Falls are not only difficult physically but also emotionally.
My husband has installed special handrails for me on all stairs, and we have a first floor bedroom, too. If you can hold on to the rails, going down backwards is actually easier in some cases. Regards, and sympathy, ElaineD |
