Are you talking stem cell therapy....using stem cells derived form your own fat tissue that are re-injected into damaged nerves in hope to initiate regeneration? I had this procedure done at the New England Center for regenerative medicine in MA.
I had it done in April 2015 and December 2015. To date, I do not feel my peripheral nerves are any different. I did not have pain, so I do not know if it might help with that. I had it done hoping for peripheral nerve regeneration. My symptoms are weakness/calf atrophy. |

We can do so much on our own to reduce PN damage, reduce sugars/carbs, take supplements directed for PN issues, lot of info here, but stem cells...no.
An MD here in my town does PRP/Stem Cells for joint issues but when he has calls about PN, he says no...then goes on about nutrition etc. I have had a lot of success with Inosine and have talked about it here...but the foods are a big one...and of course, get rid of alcohol as much as possible. |
