LOL LOL LOL That's a hoot! I know it's difficult to learn how to use a computer. I guess we're just lucky it came fairly easy to us.
My friends dad only has a 7th grade education and he can't figure out how a computer works at all. He still thinks it's like a 2 way radio! LOL He said "Hey we can't tune in Texas on our computer!" My friend tried to explain that everyone is on the internet and you can look things up on it......he still can't grasp it. Poor guy!

Default Roxie...did you pass that

fever over this way? I know the mosquito population is horrible but we've had no West Nile reported yet. I've run a temp that I''m positive of for the last couple of days. It's been as high as 101.9 today and I was shivering before that. But I didn't think so much of it until my best friend asked me why I was shaking so hard. I was shivering so hard that it took both hands to hold a glass of milk. She made me take my temp. My normal temp runs 97.6 And my stomach is always messed up because of the neuropathy so I don't think too much about problems with it. Whatever I've got has been here a couple of days at least. I started out just sweating terribly but one of the meds sometimes makes me sweat if the doses are too close together. And I've just been so terribly tired. But then I've been pushing myself harder than usual.

The pain doctor gave me a prescription for some small Fentanyl patches. Only 12mg. I am taking so much medicine for the autoimmune problems and I didn't want to take it, but he told me that my pain threshold expression was just too high. Hard to concentrate, twitchy, looking at my husband hoping he'll finish sentences, etc. Seems he noticed all of that and suggested I try some of the small ones. I've used them for a few days. But I just think they don't do much good until I took them off. It took me a few days to get over the detox from them. And then I tried to turn over in the bed. My rear is still broken obviously. I couldn't turn from my back to my side. I was still able to get up tho with help from my husband. This is disappointing because I thought I was making some headway there.

But how in the world do you know when you are seriously ill? A fever for I'm not really sure how long, shivers seemed normal, stomach hurts but then it usually does, etc. How do you know when you are sick? I am to see the doctor on Thurs for my reg. checkup, and if my temp comes back this evening. I'll call first thing in the morning and ask for an appt. tomorrow if they can manage it. Dahlek said I was too quiet. Don't you all wish she'd kept her mouth shut now??!

HI Billye!
OH gosh I hope you don't have something serious with that temp! Temps make ya feel so dang miserable! I had such a headache and sick stomach with mine. I hope it's just a bug that will run it's course and get over it. My dr. was convinced it was from the Fentanyl patch but I don't know....maybe so.....maybe not. I was just glad when it was over with! Now if I can just get rid of the Ecoli......I'll be much happier! I seem my Gastro dr. on Monday.....I'm sure he'll want to do some nasty test on me.
Hope you feel well soon Billye!

Sue,
I'm dreading all the paperwork we have to fill out for the ssi. Mike printed off a bunch of the forms today so we can start figuring out what we need to know and info to locate. fun fun!!
I have trouble writing any more too. I hate that cause I used to be a big time letter writer. I can still type......but my printer is on the fritz....always something!
Anyway, Nice to hear from you!

Default Saw the doctor today.

He thinks its my colon. He did the digit test for blood (don'tcha hate those things!). But I'm still running the temp of over 100 today, so that's 3 days. He has decided to put me on a three day course of antibiotics and have me drink lots of liquid and see what happens. My blood work for this last month came back showing me really anemic. That was taken two weeks ago. So he's repeating that with an anemia panel of work. Did that today. One thing that came back on the last bloodwork that marked as being too high was the comp.glucose. It was 115. I'll watch this on the list. This was fasting bloodwork.

Looks pre-diabetic to me.

Later, I'm going to lay down with my little dog.

HI Billye, Man you sound like you're feeling awful! I hope the antibiotics help you quickly. Have you had colon problems before?
I had IVIG #4 today and now I am just totally wiped out and I'm feeling that buzzing feeling again. My sister and her boyfriend are suppose to be driving through Houston tonight and I don't even feel up to seeing them at the truck stop (they drive semi across the US)
I hope you get to feeling better quickly!!
