Yes, they think it might be playing into my symptoms. They definitely have an integrative/functional medicine stance that not everything is due to a Lyme disease infection. Prior to getting sick, I never thought all this minutia mattered. Clearly it does, because I have slowly made improvements thanks to everything they have done, besides just treating Lyme. It's pretty amazing and I am eternally grateful.

One year ago they tested my C4a and it was high, but in range. I recently had a nasal swab and tested positive for MACRONS, so they are going to test my MSH and TGF-beta1. We are going to also retest my heavy metals since I've done a few months of chelation. Chelating metals was very difficult. On the day of chelation, I had fully body terrible symptoms that started about 4 hours after and lasted for 48 hours. Then I would feel great for the rest of the week (as least, as great as one can feel with fully body neuropathy symptoms). I'm not sure what to think of it. I recently had a reduction of pain in my trigmenial nerve chain. All the eyeball stabbing has gone away. I really hope this stays gone, because it's one of my worst symptoms. I'm not sure if it was from chelation or antibiotic treatment. It's a mystery, really.

They want to see if this biotoxin illness could be causing some of my pain, fatigue, and shortness of breath. We do have a substantial mold problem in our bathroom, so it's a possibility. The bathroom should be bulldozed and remodeled. However, I still think that my fatigue is mostly autonomic. I've recently been working with a vestibular PT who does neurology rehabs half the time. She was very familiar with my condition and was one the most knowledgeable people I've met in this journey so far. She looked at 3 years of my medical records and said I really need to see an autonomic cardiologist.

I'll post all my lab results here once everything is complete.
