Default Gel Slippers

Well, get a load of this!! I just got this catalogue in the mail. I was thumbing through it and lo and behold these gel slippers wowed me. So I went online, and here's a link to her website and the gel slippers.

http://www.harrietcarter.com/index.c...-3badd82e350c/

I said "now this is great for the burning feet of neuropathy".

Imagine, it's 90 degrees outside, you have no relief, and yet again, your neuropathy is acting up. Your feet are burning. You go to the freezer (I know this ad says to put them in the fridge, but my mind said freezer ((at least for a little while, right))?

Then you slip them on your burning feet, and you can sit and watch tv, watch a video. I think this is a neat idea. You don't need ice packs anymore. The slipper becomes the ice pack.

What do you guys think????

I think you are awesome, we have had 19 days over ninety here in Montana and I have been wanting something more than my feet in the bathtub with cold water and thinking WHY THE HECK DOESN'T SOMEONE INVENT THESE, so you are my hero and I am ordering a couple of these straight away!
Spent the day posting pictures of my Jack Russell who is gone and I dearly love her, so you gave me a bright spot. Bless you.

Default Wooo Hooo! Who invented that? I'm in love!

Oh, o.k., can't be in love? How about just really really happy to know that person? What a GREAT GREAT Idea? And Mel, you ROCK for bringing it to us!

This is the biggest fattest thank you I can send via email.

These sure beat the two ice packs I tie on my feet with dish towels each night while in bed.

Thanks!

Terri

Terri:

As soon as I saw these things in the catalogues, I remembered the day I came home from my podiatrist (she had used that vibrating tool on my toenails) and my feet were on fire. I went for the cold keepers in my freezer and put them on my feet.

So when I saw these things I said "BINGO".

Whoever the guy is who invented these things, well, we have to get the word out to all the people with neuropathy. Now they can keep cool!!!!!

Thank god, there's some cool stuff out there.

Socks like this would be perfect! I could wear them to bed and that would take care of my pain long enough for me to get to sleep!
