Default Restless Leg Genetic Link

Here is the article: http://www.webmd.com/sleep-disorders...new-gene-clues

I can't take the credit for it. One of our Sjogren's forum members found it.

I can't help but wonder what else the gene is associated with... like pernicious anemia perhaps...

When I see the Restless Leg commercials I always feel they are describing what I experience when I'm low on B12...

so I'm a sceptic.

Oh, sorry. I didn't mean I was sceptical about the article, I was glad to read the article.

I just wondered if the article could have told us more.

Yes, it is interesting. My father had it, and I've had a few episodes, just enough to know it can be horrible.

I think most of our problems are going to be genetic or environment and processed-food related.

I have to wonder...my symptoms more closely relate to RLS than PN. The only thing is it doesn't often bother me during the day. And once I'm asleep it's gone.

I guess, as much as I hate the thought, I'm going to have to push the issue with my NP for further and more in depth testing.

I don't know what's going on anymore. Or rather, I'm not so sure anymore.
