Default Pure Genius

I'm not sure if any of you watch the new show Pure Genius. It's an interesting concept, but not especially scientific, at least as far as current science is concerned. In last night's episode there was an interesting case of nerve pain, I believe it was the ophthalmic nerve. It was funny to see the fix. They installed a tiny device which used electrical currents to bypass the pain or some such thing. In theory, perhaps it could work, electric currents and all. The show is not particularly good, but I thought it was rather humorous how quick and obvious the fix was. I was told to watch it by a friend who knows of my condition.
