Relief therapeutics is second comapany how is doing a phase 2 study starting this year beginning in 2017 ending in 2018.
There main goal is deveoping a treatment for people wirh a distal nerve dammage

That's actually sounds promising. Hopefully, if it makes through all the research it will be offered to non-diabetics. I'm not sure that will be the case because this study seems to show a connection to a diabetics A1c.

Adding to the link that pinkynose has provided, there is some background to ARA 290 here Discovery of a Master Regulator of Injury and Healing: Tipping the Outcome from Damage toward Repair .

Although the article is written by an employee of Araim the science looks good to me - most of the cited references are from investigators with no association with Araim.

My take on it is that ARA 290 is in the "This is a very good idea." basket though whether it survives clinical testing remains to be seen.
