.......the vets of Neurotalk. Had my 3rd follow- up with the Neuro today and I think I did a pretty good job. I actually knew what the neuro was talking about and I asked informed and intelligent questions ! I think the doc was somewhat impressed! All of this , due to your advice and guidance. So, here is were I stand...acute SFSN due to high glucose in Metabolic Syndrome, slight loss of Vibration sense, some conductivity loss in legs. Vitamin levels ok ,( b12 was low last month 450 ) 1300 now with methyl, glucose way down ,bp below normal, cholesterol 118, lipids low. Well, enough of that , I will just say thank you again.

FEELING when the doc mumbles its' ' flormagorbalis dorfmalibitum' and you can come back with a 'You mean Diagnostic Number three category Neuropathy?'
![]() I am betting here that he's going to see you in about 3-4 months for a f/u and another blood test then. GO get them! Get better! ![]() ![]() |

Reminds me of when I had a pain in my arm, and I was sitting in my (former) primary care guy's office. This was 10 years or so ago.
I told him I had a pain in my right arm and he's moving it this way and that way, and he's going hmm hmm, and I go: "How do you know I don't have Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis???? After picking up his jaw, he says: "what did you just say?" and I repeated myself. He replied: "I didn't even know you could pronounce that". Treated me with a lot more respect after that visit. Mel

Melody, I have low blood pressure. Always have. For me, according to a doctor I asked who first discovered this, it simply means I won't die of high blood pressure. But that's not true. What may be within normal limits for many people is high for me.
If a low blood pressure reading isn't normal for a person it's caused by *something* but that can be a lot of different things.
