My partner had just given her friend the name of the LLMD that we both used in the past when we had Lyme Disease. Although our doctor treats children, she gave her this doctor's information as well.
I had LD almost 15 years ago and during that time, it was very difficult to find a LLMD and even more difficult for those doctors to prescribe long term use of abx. I had found my doctor on Lymenet.org. I'm not sure if things are still this way. I sure hope not because like you wrote, LD left untreated can lead to multiple symptoms/serious health problems etc. Quote:

The place to find a LLMD is to contact ILADS.org. They will send you a list of clinicians in your state.
