Is anyone out there who have permanent radial nerve damage? I'd like to ask you guys some questions.
For 3 months now, my radial nerve palsy has not yet seen any improvement. I fractured my left humerus w/c affected my radial nerve. I had underwent surgery 3 months ago. I have recently underwent EMG, and the doctor said complete recovery is very slim. Is there anyone out there who also experienced this? |

Update on my status. It seems my nerves didn't reconnect properly causing my persistent wrist drop. I'll probably live with for the rest of my life. I ask my doctor if anything could be done with it, but only told me to be hopeful and keep on practicing. I feel really down. I know it's not the end of the world, but I still feel depressed about it. I can't even high five or pick up a pen properly. And that if it's electrically stimulated at the back of my hand, it makes a fist instead of extending my fingers. My mom has been saying that I have been useless, and that it was my fault that my hand didn't heal properly, wow! Like I know can control the pattern of my nerves reconnecting. Seriously what an unnecessary *****! Sorry.... no name swearing. Hm.... I just feel depressed.
