I've been experimenting with Essential Oils in the last few years and it's been good experience. My favorites seem to be Frankinsence and Myrrh (Zum Oil), Peppermint, Bergamont, Orange, Wintergreen. I use them for all the aches and pains and the nerve issues too.
11 Essential Oils For Nerve Pain, Neuropathy And Sciatica My favorite lotions/ointments seem to be Topricin and Ultra Tiger Balm. My major issues are OA and some nerve damage from hip replacement. |

I did not find essential oils helpful for the neuropathy thing.
I have found herbs useful. Most important for me was St. John's wort in tincture made from fresh plant material. American skullcap (fresh tincture), prickly ash, and ashwagandha I also think have helped. St. John's wort is contraindicated with SSRIs and most other drugs because it increases their removal from the body. |

My mum takes alongside her blood pressure lowering medication for depression and she is doing fine under her Doctors supervision... so far, she likes it. It has a few disadvantages, but it is one of the best herbs for nerve pain we have in the world, so there you go.
