4383 days sober

Hey, it was exactly 12 years ago today that I was arrested and thrown in jail! What a great day!

I sobered up shortly after and then went through withdrawal for a week and then my mind started to clear.

What a journey to from jail to walking again and now having a near perfect life!

Praise God!!

If I can do it....so can you!

Planning a move half way across the country. What will this broken vessel do next? We are saddened to leave the recovery group we started, but God has something much bigger for us

Anyone want to buy a custom home with a mountain view?

Great number, eh?

We are in Texas for about a week doing some more house shopping and taking in some good brisket and steak...YUM!

It's getting cold here in the mountains of VA, but the real estate market is HOT here and life could not be better

Oh yeah, my book is selling really well and it's exciting watching it change lives!

It's beginning to look a lot like CHRISTmas....what a wonderful time of year to reflect on being alive!

I have started seeing a DO here in Virginia (doctor of osteopathic medicine) and I see marked improvements already! After two visits I can stand still for longer periods of time, my balance is improving and she thinks I will be jogging in the near future. I gave her that as a goal....

Not much to report except the DO I am seeing is AMAZING and I hope to be jogging in the next coupe months (not for fun, just to say that I can do it)

We have a deal that if she can get me to jogging\running then I owe her dinner....
