I've found that any of the Sketcher brand shoes with the memory foam insole are also very comfortable. I have had good luck with everything from their casual slip ons to athletic shoes, to steel toe work boots. I also make sure to wear thick. soft socks and buy the shoes a little wider than normal to reduce pressure.

Everyone is different, but the Sketchers are relatively inexpensive and widely available in the US - so might be worth a try
