Question Effexor XR?

Hello PN'ers,

Has anyone taken Effexor XR for nerve pain and can attest to it's efficacy?
I have been on Imipramine for several years now and I believe it is causing me memory issues. I have read about the prolonged use of tricyclics causing dementia, so I want to get off the Imipramine.

Thanks,
Nervous1

Default

I was on Effexor XR (150 mg/day) for my Major Depressive Disorder.

I discontinued with approval and close monitoring from my psychiatrist.

This is worth bearing in mind; un-monitored discontinuation can have unpleasant side-effects.
