Hi all.
Is numbness part of sfn? I have a number patch on the top of my big toe, kind of on the side of, near the nail. This is the first numb patch I've found.... Maybe I've had it for years..maybe is resulted to PN (I haven't been diagnosed or anything), but I did injure that toe at uni years ago, so maybe its due to that and I've never really noticed it since. |

My numbness is weird, it's not like a scar or injury where the surface of the skin is numb, it's deep down in there. On the ball and big toe of my feet it feels like the area where the bones are is numb...everything else I can feel.
Does it feel like a sock is bunched up under the feet when you have shoes or boots on? Mine does and that was the first 'sign' 4 years ago. |

Big Teo update... im sure you're all keen to hear!
So, after about a week i would say it was back to 95% normal. It (the numb patch) could feel temperature, pin prick and light touch (it cotton bud). A week on, back to nearly square one. Cant feel pin prick or light touch or temp. The patch is still the same area, maybe not as big as before. I also cant feel the referred never pain as much (If i brushed my foot near my big toe it used to shoot up into the toe), and I cant palpate it like i could the other week... not sure if those are good or bad things. Still thinking this might be MSK related rather than PN... Well, hoping... |
