I wore compression stockings for one flight and I thought they helped with nerve pain. For another flight, I didn't think they helped.
If I could afford lie-flat beds, or seats that more fully reclined, I might travel more. I think they'd help. I've taken a long train trip, with a roomette where I could sleep at night, and I felt pretty decent when I arrived. I also have a sleeping pill that I use when my pain levels are up--and during this train trip--and decent sleep definitely helps. Not clear what his triggers are or symptoms. For me, making sure I could get good rest when I arrive and scheduling any of the things that help me--swimming, massage, low stress, healthy food, less walking--would be paramount.
