Default Surviving a 20+ hr flight with neuropathy

Hi all, I am here to ask about my Dad. He has neuropathy, particularly in his feet, and we were wondering if anyone had ideas that would help him get through a flight from Ohio, USA to Brisbane, Australia? Would getting him one of the lay flat beds help? or maybe the ones with recline functions? any tricks?

I know he can pace the plane and can get more meds we were just looking for other ideas.

Thanks
