I'm not a veteran pn er but I looked into tarsal tunnel surgery. I had 2 nerve block shots in that area as well. I called that Dillion inst but felt he was a sales person though I may be wrong. He wanted the money upfront if he did it personally rather then his associates so on not through insurance and over the phone he felt I was a candate where all the doc I saw here wanted to wait. My foot/ankle doc though does preform it says it should be one of the last things you do. I'm not saying not to just what I have been told. When this first happened I just wanted to do it after a few months of pain. Now with the other symptoms that have happend and more of a pn dx I'm glad I waited. It is still an option I guess but I did hear that there is always an issue of damaging another nerve. I could be wrong and am no expert at all and have very little knowledge as many know I'm the ? asker. Ok good luck

I would like to talk to some of the 10 % of the people who's operation was not successful and i would like to ask the surgeon why those people didn't improve from the operation he performed and can he prove the success rate of 9 out 10.

I have had a carpal tunnel op done and i haven't had a problem with it, they done a great job, but i couldn't compare those pre op symptoms to that of my feet, my hand was swollen and throbbing, my feet just burned like hell, to completely different symptoms, i would really do my homework before even considering it.
