I thought these two articles were interesting. Apparently Ethoxyquin is a food preservative in the pet food a fish farming business, but apparently has neuro-protective properties. It's being first studied for chemo-induced PN, but shows promise for diabetic as well. I'm hoping there will be a general benefit for idiopathic as well. A modified version of it is being prepped for human trials a couple of years away. It may have toxicity issues not mentioned in the articles. Still, pretty interesting. It's mentioned near the bottom of 'The Fire Within' article.
