Default Reoccuring Charcot

Bummed in Michigan. Was diagnosed with Charcot in fall. Im a non diabetic, but have neuropathy. I was in a rocker boot until recently when the Dr decided the bones had consolidated enuff to put me in an orthopedic shoe.
I was excited until I realized how stiff and weak the ankle had become so he started physical therapy 2 weeks ago. The foot in the last 2 days has become very painful and swollen. Im afraid the foot Dr. is going to take me off work and I live alone. I will be homeless. Very depressed and scared of my future. What are your experiences and where can you go for help?
