OP: Do you take supplements? THey are lifesavers in my life of almost 82 yrs... I have never had shingles and plan to NOT get them and had chiicken pox as a kid.

Why not move out of the mainstream medicine box and see a good integrative MD or Naturopath and get to the ROOT of things and start to supplement what your body probably needs.

A friend at 83 finally did this after a lifetime of pharma drugs and getting worse and worse...and found a great "worker" who does live blood analysis and now has my friend on 6 new supplements to hopefully get her into good health, she sees the "worker" again in 90 days.

It's out of her pocket but the mainstream docs have no clues so much of the time on Prevention.

You could also do some search on Lysine and your shingles issue.

Meditation is free and works wonders.

Default Hi again Duncan

My Symptoms are quite the same. No improvement, not that much worse either. Have you seen another neurologist yet?

How are you holding up? Did your neuro give you any idea on what might be the cause? Have you looked in t small fiber neuropathy?

Br John
