Hi. I have chemo induced peripheral neuropathy. I have had it for 2 years and I’ve gotten used to living in pain. Last week I got in a minor car accident, and had to slam on the clutch (I drive a manual car)and brake, and then deal with the impact. Since Then my feet have been on fire. I need to take a leave from work because I do a lot of standing. Has anyone ever injured their feet with peripheral neuropathy? How long did it take for you to get back to “normal “ ? My work needs to know how long I’m going to be out for, and my doctor just pretty much said they’ll approve whatever I think is necessary. I don’t want to be out too long because I need the money. Thanks for any help.
