Default Neuropathic Itch flare ups

I am looking to see if anyone gets Neuropathic flare-up. For the past few years I have been getting these flare-ups, where my neurons go crazy and I feel itchy in different parts of my body. Anti-histamines don't work so I have to take nerve pain meds. Just as it comes it slowly disappears, in about 6 to 8 weeks.

Thanks

Hi Parische,

I have been dealing with flare-ups for the past 5 years. Not the itchy feeling that you are having, but the onset of tingling, burning, numbness in my feet and ankle area. Sometimes it will only last a few days and disappear for months and sometimes it will last 6-8 weeks and then disappear again. I am currently in a flare-up that has lasted 6 weeks now and hoping is resolves soon. Not sure if any of this helps you, but figured I would try.

Hi JimD,

Thanks so much for replying, at least knowing I'm not alone helps. I hope you feel better soon. I too am looking forward to my symptoms going away.

I had hoped for symptoms to come and go...but my affliction seems to be constant. I get burning all around the body, itching, crawling, irruptions of red patches. I have tried to find patterns or triggers, but can't make sense of any of it. But, in the end, it is a constant and maddening affliction.
