A recent visit to the neurologist consultant revealed that my spine issues are causing my neuropathy. She said that multiple spine impingement is causing the nerves to react in the way they are. It's from my spinal chord and is inoperable so the condition is permanent and degeneration is likely.
So at least I know why I have suffered multiple carpal tunnel issues and ulnar nerve entrapment too. Years and years of suffering to find this. My wrists hurt in the carpal area typing this! ![]() ![]() |

while it is not news that anyone would like to get, that the pn is permanent and degeneration is likely, at least you know what the cause is and don't have to wonder about that anymore.

I never went to docs for their dx, I knew and learned so much from others and I've posted a lot here on what has helped me. Inosine, Sphinglin, and Grape Seed Extract (many years). |

Welcome Mark D.
I hope that a medically trained doctor will be able to offer you some good advice. Best wishes.

Caroline2 This is my first posting since I found out I have PN in lower legs and feet, no pain, just numbness for now, been having symptoms for 6 months. I am taking grape seed exract and sphingolin, however I am not sure about insolin. I have read it may cause kidney stones. Is it ok to take?

It's not insolin, it's Inosine and I don't know about kidney stones, and the burn issue is gone for the most part but I do live
with a body of numbness..... Some will NEVER go away. For me it's all due to the surgery damage... |

Like your spinal issues plus actual carpal tunnel or ulnar nerve problems. Or did you have surgery or treatments for those arm/elbow issues already? Our TOS forum has had posts in the past where they had surgery for carpal tunnel or elbow and still had pain due to impingement up in the neck chest area, the thoracic outlet/brachial plexus areas.. Some also had C spine issues too. So it gets very complex to get best dx & tx.. Is your whole spine involved and causing symptoms in your legs and other areas or just arms & hands? These images might be helpful for you. https://www.neurotalk.org/members/100-albums422.html

As I have a complete lack of reflexes anywhere she calls it a red flag for spine impingement |
