Hi all, new to this forum.
Around May last year I had some tingling burning in my feet for around one week. The burning went away without treatment. Around three months ago, I started to get tingling/burning in my feet and sometimes my little fingers after flying, this would last for 2-3 days and then disappear. Around one month ago this tingling/burning in my feet and hands has been quite consistent and seems to be aggravated by lying down on the couch, not so bad in bed. When walking the tingling seems to be alleviated somewhat, but feet almost feel swollen in shoes (not actually swollen). Mostly affecting the balls of my feet and my little fingers. The balls of my feet tend to hurt if I walk bare footed. The tingling is not consistent and ebbs and flows during the day. This has correlated with mid-upper back pain, just below the shoulder blade, mostly on the right hand side - I have had bad posture since a child so assumed it was old age catching up with me! Completed a well-ness check and the doctor did not seem worried, and said come back in a few months if it persists. Completed CBC and other blood work which came back fine (i.e. no diabetes). Does this sound like a compressed nerve due to a back issue or something more systemic? Would be interested to hear if anyone else has had similar issues. |
