 Feel better Joe:hug: . I am missing my ocean walks too.

Awww, I'm so sorry

I hate that you are missing your walks. That bumping toes into things isn't fun. I've got the long slim foot with long slim toes. I finally bought sandals this year that have a baby bumper on the ends. Really...http://www.rei.com/product/732901 Now this shoe makes mens styles too. Here's the website: http://www.rei.com/product/733856?ext_cat=undefined

These are Keens shoes. They are expensive unless you catch them on sale but I've found mine on sale at about half regular price. The rubber is substantial and really probably does stop most of the breaks I'd normally get. I'm buying these things in winter styles too.

Here's hoping your poor toes get well soon. I'm very familiar with toe breaks. Hurts doesn't it?

Take care and here's hoping they heal fast.

Billye:

I absolutely loved the way these shoes looked, especially the mens shoe. All nice and sturdy. I have a question about the lady's blue one.

It seems that there is a toe thing (it goes between your toes, like a thong), am I correct? And if it does, is it comfortable.

I tried to enlarge the picture but it looks like you can't just slide your foot through. Enlighten me please. Very pretty shoe by the way.

It's broken and taped up now. Third break i have because of PN and lack of balance or feeling. There goes long walks and the ocean for most of the rest of the summer

Oh my gosh, I'm sooooo sorry that happened!!!!!!

Darn it! I just hate what not feeling puts us in line for!

And what is so galling is that there's no feeling when we need it, but a lot of pain we don't need. (though I have to admit my pain levels are way down, except for when there is stress.)

Have you tried taking a LOT more Methylcobalamin or cyanocobalamin in shots? It was when I had a shot a day and sometimes two for several months that my PN was dramatically affected for the better.

There's a neat post on this forum about getting the hydroxy form in Australia without a prescription at the drug store... maybe they call it "chemist" like in England. I forget.

Boy, not being able to walk is the PITS!!!!!!!

I am so careful now... Last year there were months and months on end when I couldn't walk... so I'm really sympathetic!!!!!!

Dang! That doesn't sound like one bit of fun! I hope that toe heals quickly so you are up and around again!

I'm so sorry. On Silverlady's post we were just talking about balance and walking. I hope you heal quickly.

HeyJoe 08-14-2007 12:15 PM

Thank you for the notes and thank you for the suggestions......i try to be careful but slip up at times.....im going to have to wear shoes as much as possible......

daniella 08-14-2007 12:26 PM

I have been trying to wear my shoes even in the house. I think it gives me more support and makes me walk better. Random ? why do some people feel only certain things? Is it just how the pn is?Hey joe are you in pt?
