Default Useful?

I've never seen this posted on any thread but then I may not have looked hard enough. In any case I'm sure that the "old-timers" (PN suffering only, not chronological age) here have their diagnoses down pat but these codes may be of some use anyway. I've wondered previously when I would get lab slips, etc w/ multiple codes, curious as to what the presumed diagnoses might be - also handy for insurance purposes.

In any case this site has a pretty good collection of codes and their definitions - may be helpful.

Sorry if I missed this before - way too much info on these threads to cover everything - but that's a good thing!

Default This is GREAT!

It's sort of like finding the 'secret decoder ring'!
So your doc says you have 'X' and puts down a number, but when you look it up, you see he really means 'Y'! Kind of sneaky sometimes?

Only thing that confuses me is all the 'Exclusions' under any given category.

Kind of reminds me of trying to read certain parts of any state's laws....

Thanks - It's gone into one of my 'favorites' files...but will I be able to find it again? I sure hope so!

Good find! - j

Default Ah Hah

Dahlek,
you raised a really good point - there may be too many exclusions in the list to be as useful as I thought. Let me see if I can find something either more complete or at least complementary. If I do I'll add it to this thread.
thanks again.
