Default Yes Use your friends and relatives mercilessly...

Someone has to know something about some of the stuff you are dealing w/in a different state...Funny, specialists in some quarters are very small 'circles of governance' =COG's...Usually someone in another state will KNOW of someone relevant in your state...The key legally is finding those DRATTED KEY WORDS!...Especially frustrating when you don't know what the language is? Never ever turn your nose up from pseudo advice or a name you could call and ASK plainly if this is their COG? Worst that can happen is a non-response or a NOPE CAN't HELP...then YOU can ask, any ideas of WHO?WHAT TYPE of expert I need? go from there...Lots of phone time, but freebies are just that, free...
DO NOT EVER, get into that mental trap that 'now that I'm sick, I can't do anything right! You are sick, you have to pace yourself, but, you can organize yourself better [even with colors?] than you ever did in a stressful professional life 'cause you can blot out many working distractions and CONCENTRATE on that which is necessary....
I have faith in you, and I see others do as well. - j

COG's I love it, I never heard that before.

Yes, for sure. It's the key words. It's like a secret language. "set aside" is like that. So is the standard of review language: "abuse of discretion" and "error" but it has to be a specific kind of error... I have it in my appeal, I just forget.

Because it's an appeal, I think it probably runs about the same throughout the states because I remember when I read about "standards of review" the standards were for all the states.

Thank you Dahlek, I appreciate the vote of confidence.

If I knew what "key" words to use, I might be able to find something on the internet.

But so far I haven't found the key words... beside "set aside"... damages? maybe? but then... do I have to say what they consist of? I know in bankruptcy court when I did violation of stay things, I had to identify specific damages... actual damages. But I know that in some other circumstances that to mention specific things sort of invalidates it...

That was a really cute ending to your post.

It took me awhile to get the "cat" part of it. I used to have a kitty, so that got me confused.

But then I remembered the "not amused" -- and all in rhyme. Love it.

tomorrow will be good. I could not go to sleep last night, I kept trying to just forget about things and relax, but my mind was not having anything to do with that. So I couldn't think well enough to work on it today.

I'm hopeful for tomorrow.

Thank you.

Oh.

I tried that once years ago. But I could drive then.

And it didn't work very well. If I remember correctly I talked to one of the head people in relation to the students. But... It wasn't very fruitful. He thought I had a good case. and in the end I got a small settlement, but that was from just doing it, step by step.

Settlements are much more easy than doing things exactly right to win... there are just so many errors it's possible to make... The lawyer lists 5 different things he's saying I didn't do right...

When I get confused, it's so hard to tell whether I have things in, or in the right place...

Using different colors is helping me keep the different issues straight. So I should be able to check each issue ... to see if it has all the right parts in it...

Confused

I found some relief paragraphs on the internet.

I also got the court CDs but now I can't play them because something is missing on my computer, some Codec?

I have no idea. And I asked the court before I had someone go and pick them up for me. The court said that as long as I had a computer, they would play.

Well, they don't.

And now I'm locked out of my email program... this is soooooo frustrating.

Does anyone have any idea what computers take to play Court Ftr CDs?

get there they have list of up today retired who volunteers (social workers,
lawyers who are up to date and usually don't cost a dime..I forgot i used
both and was amazed at how int, and how willing they were to help..

baby boy smiling, with 2 missing teeth..Well he comes out be you. And
we both laugh, and he whispers i be your grandson, DANIEL, What and who

thing he has is a little walker..And boy can he get around,he talks so well,

Oh gosh, I wish you told that wonderful story of your little grandson in a thread that more people are likely to read. That was just so soooo lovely.

How completely sweet.

The rides... yes, there are rides here. They have left me outside in the cold and dark and I've gotten so sick as a result that I can't use them any more.

The legal aid here because of the underlying privy pit is useless. Also they were just flat out wrong about how the redemption worked. If they'd known it would have saved me $7,500 in interest on the money I borrowed to make up what I needed to redeem, only really I didn't have a right of redemption any more because of an Appeals Court decision.

I found some things from the law school in Albuquerque on the internet... and I'm beginning to see the kind of thing I probably need to say.

I think I need some coffee, whey amino acids and magnesium so I don't get a headache from the stress.

By the way, have you tried added vitamin C to help contain the tooth infection? That's what I'm doing and it works pretty well. I take 3 grams a few times a day, but I'm really tall and pretty heavy. (the pretty part is a fantasy.)
