Default Epidural for neuropathy

Saw another doc who thinks that becasue of my back discs that some of the pain could be coming from back to legs, although it feels like it goes from the feet to the back. even if it is neropathy he still thinks it is a good idea.
now i have two others say no. has anyone had epidurals for periphial neruopathy?
