Thank you all. I am sorry to be so crabby today, but boy, this is kicking me all over the place.

I will search for the things you recommend and see what can be done about the Singular...

I really appreciate the friends who have taken the time to post to me, email, PM and help me out here.

Thank you for your time, and for being my friends. I hope I can reciprocate in some way some time...

You are the best...

Cathie

LizaJane:

Does your doc want you to irrigate even with an active infection? The nurse here cautioned me on that, but maybe she was concerned about getting the fluid into the ear, since I have not-so-hot ears...

After looking over your doctor's great website, I wonder if that culture may be a waste of time, since he recommends it be done with a scope. Well, however it was done, the thing was yellow, so maybe something will show up...

Lavaging away in Texas-wishing I were drilling for oil, so I could pay for all of these doctor bills...

What happened with the pneumonia and could these issues be part of unresolved issues with that? I have no idea about the ear though I had an infection too a few months ago and they did that and took out the scabs but it made a huge difference and felt so much better. I hope you keep bugging the docs about comunication. You have too much going on for them not to be on the same page. Many hugs!

Well, I moved up the scale a little, from "bitchy" to "blah." I think I feel a little better today, but am afraid to shout from the rafters, for fear I will jinx myself.

Yesterday, I went to the pharmacy and whined to my pharmacist about how AWFUL I was feeling. He is a sweetheart and was kind enough to call my Pulmonary Doc and got a prescription for a "Z" pack, since I left mind God only knows where. I just could not hold out feeling like that until Tuesday and did NOT want to end up whining to some post adolescent ER doc over the weekend...

I am on the Mucinex and am going to have to find out exactly when I can try the Singular. I found half of a bottle here, but after what you said MrsD, I don't know if I should try taking any or not.

Interestingly, the ENT doc's office called and said, "Lavage 2 times daily." I was nice and did not tell them that I already got better information on this on the Internet. You know how unsettled they can get about stuff like this...

I have to find some of that Alkolol today. I thought LizaJane had mispelled this at first and had just given up and resorted to an exotic means of drinking her sinus problems away...

That's all for today...

What happened Daniella, was that the lungs, ears, nose and throat all decided to work together to gang up on me. To the best I can remember, this seems to happen when I am trying to cut my regular steroid dose... I am feeling better now, so what I will have to concentrate on is reducing the extra Prenisone back down. I don't know how fast that can be done. I have only been on the elevated dose for a little over a week.

None of the docs really talk to one another still, but I am beginning to think this is a common complaint. It isn't the way it is supposed to be, but there is not a lot that can be done for it...

Take care,
Cathie
