Default New - Neuro-Feedback Article

Neurofeedback is a relatively new biofeedback technique that focuses on helping a person train themselves to directly affect brain function. Although it sounds like science-fiction in nature, it’s actually a reputable and scientifically-proven technique practiced by specially-trained psychotherapists.

I did biofeedback at the pain clinic and I really liked it. I have a hard time with anxiety and it was really neat how I could calm my body. It measure your body temp too. I want to find a therapist here who does that. I will say I think a key is a good therapist. Mine and I have seen a lot of therapists was awesome and could calm me down. I have had some therapists who try to do other relaxation qways make me more anxious. I have done other things like relaxation or guided imagery where I felt I would jump out of my skin. I think biofeedback can also help with stress which we all know can increase the pain. I think many should give it a try.
