Lightbulb CoQ-10

Has been used in very high doses for Friedrich's Ataxia and Parkinson's.

Where there may be mitochondrial damage, CoQ-10 may help.
The mitochondria are the energy parts of each cell. And some attention is
being paid to recessive holders of mito genes that are disabling.
One theory is that 2 genes gives serious disease, present from birth.
And that one gene does cause problems in later life. This has not been
proven yet, that I have seen.

If one takes statin drugs for cholesterol you must have CoQ-10 because those drugs destroy your body's ability to make it, for yourself.

Good CoQ-10 products are expensive, but not dangeous to use. So if you want to try them, pick a quality one with information on the label indicating
Q-sorb or other similar names --a softgel type, not a powder.
If you go to www.epic4health.com there are some explanations as to
what constitutes a quality type.

Some of the drugs that deplete or impair CoQ-10 are:
beta blockers
thiazide diuretics
hydralazine
phenothiazines (Thorazine etc)
TCAs (amitriptyline etc)
some anti-diabetic drugs (glipizide, glyburide)
methyldopa
statins for cholesterol (pravastatin, Lipitor, Zocor etc)

I've been taking CoQ 10 for about 4 months now. When starting on this journey and seeking out info about PN we found lots of articles that mentioned CoQ 10 and how good it was for PN and general health. So we bought some. I used to suffer constantly with yeast infections, even systemic yeast...this was for decades! Since taking the CoQ10 I haven't had one yeast infection! So I'm thrilled with it! I hope everyone who tries it has great results too.
