I have a question about Toe Socks
 

Look at these:

They sell these near my home. I took a look at toe socks and I said to myself: "Why would someone wear these when they could wear plain old socks"??

And I couldn't answer my own question.

So someone please tell me the benefits (or not) of wearing toe socks vs regular socks.

Toe socks = torture chamber for me

These were very popular when I was a kid.... I think they are a "kid" thing.
Mine had different colored toes, in fact.

I just bought 4 pair leg warmers a couple of weeks ago from that link I put in
above. The prices are far lower, but the styles more limited than the retail links.
I paid 10.99 for 4 pr with 4.00 shipping.

Target has some fingertip-less ones right now and some arm warmers as well for about $10. They are going very fast rite now tho. People are really doing what seems like panic holiday shopping now? - j

One of the things that Sjogren's and autoimmune neuropathy has given me is less of a fat pad on fingers. They freeze and crack. I looked for these gloves all last year and you have given me so much to choose from. Thanks so much. Glad to see you back :)

I wear the fingerless gloves as well,since I when to visit my son in
MN. main headquarters of Target..Wellll they ar ebig sellers at
the good old Mo. store. We don't get a lot of cold,but it's
easy for the college kid's to use them...Now my MN. son never,i mean
never could stand his fingers covered and still can't loves them. And
they do go up your arms..Hugs to all Sue

You all who live up north have more access in stores for warm clothing articles, like fingerless gloves and leg warmers than we do here in the south. They just don't carry the same stuff here. But it still gets cold enough here for me to need exrra help, what with my neuropathy! Thank goodness for the internet!

Dakota I agree. I'm in Ca now but even when its cooler I need to be protected.
I have never seen those toe socks like that. No thank you. The toe warmers that you put on the bottom of your sock helps me but then they start to bother me after awhile. When my feet go numb it really starts to hurt all the way up the leg. We should come up with are own clothing line.

Ah, that would be divine. Everything warm and loose, and of the softest fabric possible. Soft loose socks, and wide shoes with cushy soles.
