Default Yule

Where I live, On December 21st we will still be losing daylight...

On December 22nd, the losing stops.....Saturday---the day the Earth Stood Still, lol.

On December 23rd, we will get 4 seconds MORE daylight then the day before...

on Dec. 24th we will get 8 seconds MORE daylight then on the 23rd...

Things are shortly going to be looking up!

So that is Good Jul or Yule for you'all.

(I am at the end of my rope with the light thing----now, just to deal with 4 more months of cold. There is no 'fever' in my cabin! I think some one got confused, or is not from these parts to have termed this period 'Cabin Fever'....this is called 'Cabin Freezer' for this old geezer.) I am gonna go swaddle myself in several quilts for a few more days....come out for a little nog...then go hibernate for another 6 weeks and hope the ground hog does not see his shadow.
