I know, just another day with neuropathy! Yesterday, I got out of the car, to walk into a grocery store, and my feet both were doing that "cellphone" vibration buzzing. I try to ignore the best I can and keep going. So, I got a cart and walked into the store. Just as I got inside, the buzzing got worse and it was not just my feet, it continued up my legs, I honestly felt as though my legs were going to give out. I'm thinking--man, what am I going to do now and just as quickly, it went back to just my feet and then all calmed.

I've had one of "those" weeks. I have a basement apartment and the landlord's heater sprung a slow oil leak, which I suspected--I have a chemical sensitivity. Then Thursday morning, my boss decided to use the Carpet Fresh again, which makes me very sick. I coughed from the minute I walked in the door at 9, until we closed at 8 that night. Around 10:30 am is when my sinuses started to burn. Then Friday morning the heater guy came and filled my apartment with oil fumes, which I had to stay because the landlord was gone--then back to work yesterday and I coughed all morning there--only 5 hours on Saturday. Tomorrow morning, I find the Carpet Fresh and it finds the dumpster!

I have to believe that my celiac, chemical sensitivies, and neuropathy all counteract together. I'm sure when one area weakens, they all react. If I get glutened, I have a neurological reaction--so, I am thinking maybe the vibrations are related to the chemical reactions, I don't know. I am so tired of trying to make sense out of everything that goes on with my health anymore.

I am so disappointed in my boss for putting me through this. He is a doctor, WHY CAN'T HE UNDERSTAND CHEMICAL SENSITIVITIES? His wife is dairy intolerant, and his using these chemicals in my presence is no different than his giving her milk instead of the soy she uses--why doesn't he understand that simple concept? So many educated idiots in the world!!!

I am sorry but can relate. Sometimes my issues there is no connection and sometimes there is. I think for myself it would help somewhat if I knew what was going on exactly. I am also sorry about your boss. I agree people in the world can make our issues even worse. A little care and compasion goes a long way. I hope you feel better.

Tell this doctor that you think its 'Fibromyalgia', & the Carpet Fresh
is a pain trigger and see how he reacts.
Betcha he's one that thinks its a bogus disease- or even worse,
Dx's it to a lot of patients cause he doesn't know how to find out
what's wrong with them.

Thanks Bob and you are right about him. He is always right. He is an optometrist though and doesn't diagnose usually. I am not sure how he feels about Fibromyalgia, I do however know how he feels about celiac disease and he has a pretty low opinion of it. He has diagnosed me with dry eye, yet refuses to believe the cause is my autoimmune disease (that being celiac because he isn't sure I am celiac), he feels it is either allergy related or hormonal, but certainly not autoimmune. I am guessing he probably doesn't believe I have neuropathy either, of course, the neuropathy is probably a result of my celiac disease too and as I have stated, he isn't sure I am celiac! As for B12, he feels everyone can get all the vitamins they need from a balanced diet! I never ask him any questions anymore--I have finally come to the conclusion that I know more about vitamins than he does, definitely more about neuropathy, and will always know more about celiac disease.

I also realize I will have to start leaving work the minute I realize he has used the offensive chemicals again. Once he has to pay me for staying home repeatedly, maybe he will start listening to me.
