Thanks

everyone, appreciate suggestions - mrs d. - i was going to ask my gi doc for referral to nutrionalist - think i'll call him this week and see if i can get - cause i know i cant have acid according to the gastroparesis diets i see on line (and experience - even citrus because of the acid too)....

if a juicer will let me have some healthier and different tastes and seems to be ok to the dietician - i'll give it a shot (have a family member who has some mega juicer that leaves no pulp at all - so maybe that is an option!)

we'll see:confused:

There are juicers on Ebay...some really a steal.
I was thinking you'd use them for vegetables mostly. Citrus is hard to handle, but you might get a little in there, diluted and try it eventually.

Blueberries, stawberries are really high in antioxidants, however.
Using the veggies, you'd get some potassium too.

My Dr. Amy and son got me a Jack Lalane Jucier and Veggie used for both,
They got me a big one because of Bob's girls and when all the kids are
together. There's a small one as well, but a bit pricey. I remember doing
with that man and his wife when in the 70's all you needed in equitment
was a dining room chair or sturfy flolding chair, the floor and I used my
babies for weights..The baby would be up and hollowing at 6 in the morning.
They all found that show fun, didn't know they were getting there
Mom in shape. Anyway he's in his 9o's or 104 something like that,if you
have a hard time with your hand's and wrist's it great..

Mrsd. my daughter makes my Grandson Butter squach,or butter nut soup.
He's 9 months old today..Now this is mean,my Mom use to fixed my son when
he was 9 months old mashed potatoes he would clap his hands and
dive in,well 1 day with out saying anything she mashed up her favorite
Turnips, well he got a mouth ful and you know how babies look when
there trying to get something out of there mouths fast..This kid was
gagging ,look like his face was turning blue..Then I look ed at Mom and she
started laughing,my Dad said Jonnie Joe that was mean. Boy before
he had mash potatoes anywhere he would smell them.

My husband a nice Jewish man did not care for grits, collar greens ect.
Well we were on vaction once were eating breakfast,he was looking
at me like are you nuts, but said in a loud voice SUE put those down
there GRITS,well you don't say that in Mississippi..They just put them
on the plate in the south..Those people looked until I ate every bit, then
reached over and ate his..Yet it took me forever to make Borsh (beet soup}
well sour cream, well the trouble was back then everyone never wrote
it down,so nothing tastes like Mothers..

I'm become a e-bay nut now as well,so far never had any trouble, has
anyone else???Boy my wrists and hands hurt today,it's so cold again.
Mel what else do you like juiced up. Kemb I lost 10 lbs. this week,
I bet Baxter her kitten could keep her whole body warm he's just
so cute,I told Bob I thought I would get a cat,now he wants one,
talk about falling and poor cats.. Hugs all Sue
