Wink Gee Whiz...

Thanks Curious.... I just needed a big old nap... which I don't often take.

Maybe I overdosed a bit on those chocolate covered cherries my hubby bought? LOL

Sometimes my pain overwhelms me, but I usually get a handle on it and don't complain. You are very thoughtful.

Default I missed something and I do..

Apologize for it. I knew you were having arthritis type pain but hoped it had passed by now. The weather is driving me nutz and I would guess it is you too.

I have found that raising my fish oil to 3 softgels a day has helped quite a bit. I've had to actually discontinue the Indomethacin for surgery and the fish oil seems to have filled part of the gap.

Perhaps doing the same might help you. My new doctor said she'd like to have me taking 3-4 grams a day. with three servings of fish a week.

I'm sure sorry you are in pain. I would gladly take some of it for you. ((((((((((((Mrs.D)))))))))))))

Candy really gives a sugar shock to the system. It sets off my PN pain a lot. Since arthritis is an inflammatory process, sugar uptake might affect it the same way.

My primary care physician recommended eating a few nuts after eating candy or fruit to slow down the sugar uptake. Of course, if you don't eat more than 1 or 2 candies at a sitting you can sin and be virtuous at the same time .

I hope you feel better soon.

Is there such a thing as eating too much chocolate???

Are you under 3 quilts, 6 pillows and a yellow dog when you eat that chocolate?? In our climate, it has to be done the right way, You know that....you live near the big drinks! H-O-M-E-S!

Hope you are feeling better soon, but I have a hunch when you hear the weekend forecast, you, like me, will not be feeling so hot.

I am still mad at 'big dog' not yellow dog. 'Big dog' he ate my turtles...my chocolate turtles....he has no class....

Wink yes, I did have a nice day inspite...

My husband made me a nice turkey dinner...
Two turkey parts, yams, and potatoes. We have a Nesco dutch oven, so I have taught him how to throw everything in there together, and then it is all steamed nicely in the end. Nesco Dutch ovens are great for HUSBANDS.

I had 3 pieces of the candy. I don't eat alot of sweets, and I think I had
something else , a bug, since I was getting down/nauseous a couple of days ago. I felt alot better after the cosmic nap.

It is a small box of candy compared to what most people eat... I refuse to
give up EVERYTHING... so I do treat myself now and then.
