Ok. I was a big girl and looked at the pics. No that is not it at all on my body. I am shedding from very dry skin. I have cream but am so itchy. My scalp from the prescription shampoo looks way better. My eyes look like the pictures that are blepheritis and feel that way but a bad case. I go this facial sauna. You steam your face. Mel you may like it. I thought of you and no idea why when I bought it. I have not been to an allergist that may be a good idea. I have a lot of stomach issues but this has been for years so even if not with this maybe with that. I am thinking of going to Fl for a week. It sounds like torture the travel in pain. Or go back to MI and think of what I will do next winter. Who know may be this thing is a huge fluke here. One will never know I guess unless I go somewhere else and it is better. I just don't get how allergies start all of a sudden. I never had eye or dry skin issues. Feel good all and thanks for all your help and support.

You thought of ME when you bought a facial sauna and you don't know why??
Maybe you saw my post on my new Steam Mop (on social chat). I've been steaming away. I used to own one of those facial saunas. Kept my skin nice and smooth. |
Mrsa
Meithicilla-restant Staphylococcus,Mrsa is responsible for more deaths
than Aids in the United States..The so called Superbug in most states. Consumer Advocacy groups sound a alarm {I'm one} over Mrsa and health professionls acuse them of playing politics and using murky science. When you buy meat in a grocery, you knnow it's prepared at a factory where people have to wear a hairnet and walk through bleach and all sorts of protection. But we don't have that in Hospitals or Nursing Homes. In more states than notThere should be testing of Mrsa in patients and DRS.,isolation of infected patients and public reporting of Mrsa hosipital infection rate. No D. I don't believe your problem is Mrsa but,i've read about, bed bugs mites, mold {which can be dangerous} I went into a very well known hospital 2 yrs. ago thinking some testing would be a breeze, needle don't bother me big deal..Hey Sandy while your in lets do that work on you foot, why not..They did and when the surgeon came in,I was awake be drowsy. The surgeon my friend Sandee a Nurse friend was sitting with me. This was a University Teaching Hospital, she didn't know my Dr. I wasn't seeing well,he's cuts the wrap and begins touching my foot no gloves didn't wash his hands,my friend told him to put on glovesor get out. He got out ,he was very angry, she was angry and went to report him. That night after having no fever my it shot up to 103,I got sick anyplace he touched tured into a sores, pus,I got Diahrhea ,They came in took tons of tests,Mrsa..Now could of come from Dr. Operating room they do not clean as well as they should you know Patients in and out fast on bad days..Lockersof DRS. are not cleaned without the permission of DRS...I should of been put in isolation,no we don't have enough privite room, but I have Mrsa, well we will wear all the proper gear. One nurse did once but all that stuff is to hot to wear. One nurse said they tell us it's cutting or lifespan.,scary huh... When I go to the hospital I take my own sheets, and blanket and pillow, Bob will reclean the bed.I do it because theere sheets hurt my skin.there blakets to heavy and yes a memory foam mattress pad. This should not have become a legislative it should be within the scope of professional responsibility. It would be nice if the hospitals stepped up to the plate, and it is a nice therory that hospitals will do this. But it's a unproven they are taken this important step. These bugs have develope a defense against the drugs we use for them. People expect their Dr.s to give them everytime there sick.Controlling the Antibotics is key to controlling Mrsa..My short hospital stay, turned into 6 weeks..This is so serious, and this is my vent. I could tell you how many people die in hospitals but I won't..I have to report that I have had Mrsa everytime I go into a hopital. Thank you I'm not trying to scare any one but do your research, some us are not left with great ammune systems, and what they gave me so I wouldn't lose my foot, has done a job on my kidneys. Hugs to all Sue p.s. D thank you for letting me but in.. |
Hi. I didn't see that post Mel just thought by your personality you would like that spa sauna. No clue why. I have seen the thing you are talking about I think.
Sue It is scary how much can happen to ones body. Hugs back to you As for me I repulled my back which never got good but right now am back to the heating pad. I am stuck here I feel. I am not dealing with this well and I hate now being so far from my mom since so much more has progressed.I am trying to be mentally strong like all you but I hurt so much. Many hugs and thank you. |
Ok. I was a big girl and looked at the pics. No that is not it at all on my body. ... Good for you! Courage is being afraid, but doing it anyway. I'm inspired by you and will think of you next time I'm afraid.
...I go this facial sauna. You steam your face... Great for chronically infected sinuses, especially when coupled with sinus irrigation. I have not been to an allergist that may be a good idea.... Yes. Did you check on the side effects of all the drugs you're taking? Or go back to MI and think of what I will do next winter. Just because one thing happens after the other, it doesn't mean at all that the first thing caused the second. A move like you made is a big deal: different climate, different home, different people acting not like midwesterners, far from family, different food, etc. I bet if your think of all the things different, you might hit on what's causing your problems. It might be food allergy, drug side effect, a new soap or shampoo you're using, etc. Good luck and keep on trucking. :winky: |
Facial sauna they are good, have been doing that for years,it's very good
for the skin and other things you listed. They must be kept very clean and no I would not let anyone else use it,no one.. I have to give D. credit she didn't get there and run back home to Mi. I wish I had done that before I married at 19,you know Mom and Dad right to husband...I don't know you age David but if you remember picking berries in Ventura, I bet your not a teenager..She did not live with Mom in Mi. she was in her own apartment.. But she does have friends and family if needed..She has good Drs. at good hospitals there,I worked there for 25 yrs.Yes Ca. has wonderfull hospitals. My Husband had a job for a certain amount of time in CA. so for many years we had a condo in Sherman Oaks. If he was still alive we would of been married 43 years,Ca was to big . Wings or David whatever don't fool with Danilla,it sounds like your trying to make her feel guilty for going home,And it doesn't matter why or what she has...Many thought she should have stayed by the support she had in Mi. If she has trouble next winter she has a Grandfather in Fl. Michigan people are snowbirds..I understand what your saying but the quilt trips are a bit much. Danilla you go where your heart wants to and there's know place like home. Now I'm going,I just heard on the news a very dear friend of my husband and mine passed away Arthur C. Clark he was 91,remember 2001. I have to call my Children..Sue |

The previous two forums sponsored by Massachusetts General Hospital, continuing here, were a lifeline to me. I owe a lot, am full of gratitude, and am repaying a great debt. All we have are words here; no hugs, no visible tears, no break in our voices, no soothing tone of voice, no touching, no personality aside from the emoticons, which turn me and seem to turn most men off. If I sense something that might help I won't give up on people until I'm sure they understand what I'm getting at and what my words mean. Then, they are more free to make informed choices for their health, which may not be at all what I recommended. Its amazing what people read into postings beyond the actual words. In a very real sense, this forum besides offering an exchange of ideas and information is also a mirror where we fill in the missing emotion and personality with ourselves. To let you know that I do this, a man active in the previous forum and I developed quite an antipathy. He became quite hostile and threatening, including in private messages. I notified the moderators, and was thinking of arming and getting law enforcement involved in case it was possible for him to find out where I live. Then I found out that he was a frail, crippled, disabled person in his 70's living half a world away. His words, on rereading, took on a different meaning and I took on a different way of reacting to him, supportive rather than hostile and defensive. In that case, this mirror of a medium reflected my defensiveness and paranoia beyond what his actual words warranted. BTW, in the same way, his attacks on me were because I urged somebody else to continue looking for alternatives to opiates for pain relief. He was using opiates, and took my writing as an attack on him, and as being judgmental against him, which wasn't the case at all. |
David
In no way have I threated you are would even consider it,that's foolish.
I just feel sad that you seem to always want to be right, if you want to report anything about me so be it..If and when she goes back, she is old enough to make that decision..And if she desides to stay in Ca. once again that's her decision..This is foolish I have a picc in my heart for heaven sakes..Your a charmer David now that doesn't sound at all like I do not like you,but you can't save everyone just help,so please do your thing or whatever, but know she's in pain again now..Sue |

Of course her life is up to her and providence. If it's not her decision what to do and what not to do, whose is it? Certainly not yours and not mine. |
Daniella,
One thing I forgot is diet. You are eating differently in Ventura than you did in MI, and that could be the root of your health troubles. May I suggest you make a special effort to eat healthy: veggies, fruit, whole grain, good protein and a minimum of starch and sugar. You might also try a powerful B-complex a day (I take 2 B-50 pills daily, but then I'm a lot older than you). One or two fish oil caps a day will do wonders for your skin and complexion, and is a powerful anti-inflammatory. I take Costo brand, but any 1,000 mg. will do. Take it at the start of meals to avoid fishy burps which are a real bummer. It may bother you for a while until the fish oil itself heals and strengthens your stomach lining, about 2 weeks (thanks to Mrsd for that explanation). If it is too irritating at first, try 250 or 500 mg. caps until you're used to them and your stomach heals. I gave fish oil caps with each feeding to my last three large dogs. Two lived to 17 and one to 16. Also, we feed our dogs quality foods, keep them lean, and exercise them and ourselves every day. You're in my and my wife's thoughts and prayers. |
