Default Antibiotics

I have seen several people mention that antibiotics can cause neuropathy....

Is there a list of antibiotics or a way I can find out which antibiotics tend to do this?

thanks

Spend some time looking at this link. You may want to explore the thread at the top regarding PN tips, etc.

wow thank you.

I followed several links to find a list of antibiotics, but strangely I could not recognize the names on the list at MedLink. I just glanced, so I will have to research further.

But thank you, what an impressive and informed post!

MrsD and others have been collecting/colating that kind of info here on NT for some time. I can't say for sure, but non-recognition may be due to cases of generic vs. brand names (of which there can be several) for the same meds. It can be/get confusing for anyone.

One convention is to begin brand (patented) names with capital (upper case) letters and generic names with lower case, e.g. Neurontin (gabapentin), Lyrica (pregabalin).
