Default Just Me Again

Can understand your frustration - but its crititcal to have your primary doctor on your side.... keep looking! The best GP I ever had retired and it was incredibly hard to find another.... but again, they are critical for your coordination of care and then all the specialists you see send copies to them, and you can ask the gp for referrals to good docs.... Make an appt just to interveiw them for first visit - if necessary - ask for two back to back visits so you have time.... if they wont spend time talking with you at first - they arent worth it... and if you just go from specialist to speciliast with no coordination - they really is no one looking at the "whole picture"!

Default Awwww hon!

I'm sorry you're having such a rough time. Speaking as a mom I'm pretty sure if you told your mom how you're feeling she'd understand and I know I never hold things against my kids. We're all human and we have bad days and good. Mom's think and feel like we have to fix things for our kids. Especially when they're in pain. I'm sure it's very frustrating for your mom to not be able to take away your pain.

Thanks again and always. The huge amount of replies makes me feel so loved. I know many of you have been through what I am going and still have those doc frustrations. I also know many of you are mom's and dad's and though I am not so young I am at a little different place then many of you here in life. In my past with my eating disorder when I recovered I felt it realy helped when I had the team approach. I think when docs take the extra 2 min to call each other it save a wealth of time in the long run. For me since I am young many things they don't look for I feel and have to almost beg to get the test down. I had to beg so many times for the mri of my ankle.
As for the mom stuff. My mom says that watching your child in pain is the worst and I can imagine. I know she wants me to remain hopeful but I somtimes think this cloudy hopeful thinking makes me annoyed. SHe reads and reads and every week almost can find a new doc she thinks I should see. She believes what people say and what she reads. Really I could not ask for anything more from my mom. Other family and friends I can't say the same about because this has shown me there true colors.Well thank you again.
