Hi,
If I'm a bit grumpy, I have stomach flu and am naucious, can't sleep, eat, and today the john is my best friend. I should be fine in a few days but now, not my shining hour. My peripheral neuropathy has been getting worse in my legs to the point where there are days when I can't feel the gas or break pedal on my car. I notice that standing up and moving around brings the feeling back into them. I have tried various cushions, about 10, to see if any of them would help me keep the feelings in the legs while driving. Zip! Nothing seems to work. This also happens at home but, after trying 3 or 4 different chairs, one of them usually feels better. Does anyone have any ideas for me?? Thanks! chicagoprinter |

Before offering any suggestions, only to have you say,
"Been there, done that!",......... a few questions: Are you seeing a specialist- a neurologist who specializes in PN? What are all your Sx (symptoms)? What is your Dx (diagnoses)? How long have you had PN? What medications are you taking, & at what strengths, & how often?

Have you looked into converting the brake and gas pedal up to hand controls ?
