Welcome
My youngest son 32 a uncle in his uncle 70's and after being a nurse for 25
years and seen this happen a lot.. I have to agree with Mrsd, you should look back to the last thing that happen to you,and your burning as did there started many times after GB surgury. 2 up above ended up with shingles and they burn and are very painful. I would stop all the pills and stay with the one thing that seems to work the L Patch, explain to your Dr. if this doesn't work then he should help you with other options. Ohh and get the Dr. to put it writing he will help. Please reread Mrs d advice she is very smart she is also very wise. Pain is alfull drive you right out of your mind..A ton of pills before you can decide if one works give it some time doesn't work then try another, why because so many people feel very bad from a med aller.,well your going to get confused and sicker and hurt more. We then go on the what can we take to stop the pain not what starter it or what tests have you had done, you just may forget what helped it. Please get all you records you may see something the Dr. is to busy to see..Much luck to you. Sue |
I tirated the switch from Neurontin to Lyrica at full Lyrica dose of 450mgs/day. It worked, but still felt as if a bit more would do better.
My doc increased it after I had been at 450mgs/day (150 3xday) for about 6 weeks. I was increased to 600mgs (200 3xday). The Tramadol is taken in 4 divided doses of 100mgs each. Together they have brought me down to a very manageable pain level(Mankoski scale) of 2-4, and on good days a 1 (bad days 5-6)! |
