Hi Melody
I use a compound that is a lotion. It has Katemine in it with 5 other ingrediants. It does help with the burning and pins and needles. Will post it to you if you want. This works better for me than opiates! ginnie:hug:

So funny, I googled Neuragen because yesterday my aunt gave me a tube of it. She said it works for her husbands foot pain neuropathy and wanted me to try it. So I googled it to check it out before applying it and this post came up!!
I have to say it has rave reviews from many people. The next burning spell I have I will try this, but the smell is strong. |

I truly hope it works for you. Please update us. It did not work for my husband but then different remedies work for different people. All the best Melody |
I hope it does too! I will try it the next time I have a bad burning spell, but honestly, the smell is so strong I will only do it when I am staying home...
But my Aunt says her husband loves it and she uses it for sore neck muscles. Is it weird to say I can't wait to see if it works? lol NOOOOOOO!!! I CAN WAIT!!! haha! |
Report:
So at 3 am I woke up with the stabbing arm pain I get, where my arm connects to my shoulder. There is a spot that is always sensitive to touch cuz that muscle hurts alot and sometimes if I sleep on it or whatever it throbs. So at 3am I woke and decided to try this new stuff on it, since Biofreeze does not ever help it. Result: AMAZING. It stopped the pain and even to touch it no longer hurt, which usually when I rub biofreeze on it I try to massage that spot and it always hurts, well it stopped hurting. By 330 I decided to go back to bed, pain gone. Amazing thing is, it is still pain free this morning. Especially to touch it is usually tender after an episode. I don't no how it will work for my feet but for my arm??? AMAZING thumbs up and worth the money just for my arm pain. I guess just never know what will work and wont work. :) |

maybe it was a coincidence that the pain got worse...in actuality it may have just gotten worse just cuz, and not from the cream. Maybe you were in the middle of a pain "cycle".
I can guess this cream wont work for everyone but I can not imagine it would make pain worse. |
@Stacy:
The pain in your arm is it at the joint (under the deltoid muscle)? on the front? I get a pain there in my right arm and it is definitely referred from my wrist/carpal tunnel. When that nerve get pinched it can go all the way up the arm. I put a Salonpas on my inner wrist, (where the veins show) at night and the pain in my upper arm vanishes. Do you have signs of carpal tunnel...numbness in thumb and first two fingers, or tingling in them doing certain things? When you tap your inner wrist with your finger strongly do you get zings sometimes going into the hand? |
MrsD, no it is on the outside of my right arm, about 2 inches directly down from top of shoulder, and you can feel it is the muscle I use to raise my arm out to my side or up. It feels like a long muscle that runs the length of outside of the arm. When it is at it's worse I can not raise or move my arm AT ALL. If I keep it still it is ok but move it and YIKES.
I do not have any problems in my wrist or thumbs. This arm thing is crazy weird, and while it is worse in my right arm, it can also show up in the left arm too. Use to only show up 1 or 2 times a year but now more frequently. edit to add: I do not no if it is coincidence but my arm still feels good and is still not tender to the touch after using the cream this morning. |
Seems many are concerned aboiut the cost and the ingredients. Let me say, for me, it is a godsend. It is dispensed from the bottle in drops, and smeared on the skin. for me, the relief is in about 30 seconds. Last weekend, I was in the emergency room at the hospital on a gurney for an unrelated problem, and the pain began and of course I didn't have the little bottle with me.. despite my yelling and screaming, all I got was a nurse telling me to control myself. I don't know which of the herbs is the most powerful one, but combined, I wouldn't be without them.
