Um.. hi.
I have been lurking here for a few days now. (probably longer than that, as I tend to not remember which sites I have looked at and which I haven't)

I am a 22 year old female, and have been diagnosed with peripheral neuropathies in my hands and feet.
However, my local Dr.'s are stumped as to the cause.. (I don't think they tried nearly hard enough to figure it out)
And after the EMG they decided Mayo clinic was my best bet. (I live in Wisconsin, so I shal be going to the one in Rochester MN)

I've had several things ruled out.. (all the typical causes like diabetes, lymes, HIV, vitamin defeciencies, stroke)
Originally they were testing me for Myasthenia Gravis.

In my LLLLOOOOOOONNNNNGGGGGG wait to get into Mayo my symptoms have waxed and waned.
The fatigue kicks my bum all the time.
I have cog. fog a lot.
I have slowed down in my activities.
I have weakness in my upper body. (one of the original sx's).. but its progressed to dropping my drinks, of which I now must have them covered.
My weight has declined since Dec from 121 to 109.
Really.. it just depends on the day. Some days are better than others.

Um.. 1 more think that really makes me, me.. that isn't "sickness" related.
I am a college student.
Actually, I am going on my second year of nursing school. (I am a part time student going for my ADN)

Sorry this is sooo long winded.
