Thats very interesting to hear about your neck injury before your neuropathy. What exactly happened? Did you fall ill or have physical trauma? Im asking bc it sounds similar to my story

Leslie,

the reason your disk may have been protruding for many years but not cause problems until recently is because there are different stages of herniated discs. At some point the herniation protruded far enough to cause symptoms

By day 4, I was cooked. It's hard to describe, but my neck was stuck in jutting forward position. I'd never felt anything like it. I'd lost mobility. As with most injuries, I generally give my body a few days to work it out before thinking about doing to the doctor. (Wish I hadn't done that now.) I slapped on a cervical collar and wore it for the next several days, and whatever was wrong resolved itself. Then a couple weeks later, on Nov. 12th to be exact, all hell broke loose. It was like I woke up plugged into an electrical socket.
