Default A good fish oil

Can someone recommend a good fish oil supplement? The one I am using leaves me very "burpy" and with a bad taste...

Thank you.

Try an enteric coated one, no burpy aftertaste.

The enteric coated one I used was called Metagenics.

THere are also some on Iherb.

NOw I use a prescription one called Lovaza. asked the doc for it and it has no aftertaste.

Good Luck!

Also....you may like to try freezing the fish oil tabs first, and having it before meals, stopped any of those fishy burps with me anyways.

Leslie,

I also take prescription Lovaza. If I recall correctly, the literature says NOT to freeze it. But Shelley is right there is no aftertaste/burps.

Hey Kathy,

I will say that I get better results with the Lovaza than I did with the over the counter, esp the triglycerides.

My doc was unaware of it so I researched it and at my next blood test where the truglycerides were high I was like can we try this? She agreed and after that the trigs went from 300 to 108 after 8 weeks.
