We have been getting these 3 - 5 day record-breaking hot spells, weather so uncommon in the Pacific Northwest the comment has been made by local meteorologists that we are experiencing mid-western-like weather now. (Gr-r-r-r-r . . . global warming sucks!) And I can't walk, breathe, or function until the heat leaves and we get back to wondering if we will have to turn on the furnace again cuz' we are chilly!!!
My head is fuzzy . . . my feet twice as bad as normal . . . my attention span down to less than 1/2 a second . . . no patience . . . no relief. Is it the weather? How does it affect the rest of you? If this is common I will relax and wait . . if not, I think need to see my doctor yesterday . . .

my feet swell in the summer, they are significantly less swollen in the winter. Heat and humidity can definitely cause lack of patience. The heat may affect you more because you arent used to it.

I am totally sensitive to humidity and changes in temperature. It seem the longer I have gone on with my pain...the more narrow my non sensitive range gets!

lefthanded have you had more swelling with the heat? Swelling makes my numbnesss feel worse and I also have twice the pain then also. Then I am even more clumsy trying to move about.

We had all that rain, but cool nights which is wonderful for Mo. The hot humid nights make my legs and feet swell, like it better this way...It's like the US did a turn around in weather this year.

I am different then most here in my pn since my pain is actually from the rsd. Anywho! I have been to many states because of my sensitivity. I have extreme cold sensitivity but also with severe humidity I do. When I was in Florida I was so swollen in my bad area which increases the pain. For me not wearing socks helps with that. It makes for smelly shoes but oh well. Rather stink then be in hell pain. I hope the weather cools down but also you get some relief from the docs or help. I wish I could just live in a bubble that would make life much easier. Joking but half way serious.By the way my cousin lives in Seattle. Isn't starbucks from there?

I don't know if its the meds, or what- but my attention span is short too.
Haven't been able to read a book in a long while. Articles in the paper or on the web are about as long as I can handle, if they aren't too technical. I used to be a speed reader, now I skim and skip, but haven't the desire or energy to concentrate on a book length reading.
